I have been in Private Practice for 5 years. I have volunteered at a womens counselling service in Oxford and this work was long term and open ended work. I have also had experience working with clients struggling with drug and alcohol issues. I have an interest in Trauma and the nervous system and how the body and mind work together. I am currently in training and will complete a Certificate in Trauma Therapy training in January 2024. I have undertaken some training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Polyvagal Theory. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and work to their ethical framework. I comply with data protection legislation and have registered with ICO. I hold a Level 4 Diploma Humanistic Integrative Counselling – CPCAB. I am a trained Supervisor (Level 6 Diploma CPCAB) and have some availability to take on new Supervisees.
