About Me

I have been in Private Practice for 3 years and prior to that I had 12 years experience working in a secondary school setting working with young people in a time limited way. I have volunteered at a womens counselling service in Oxford and this work was long term and open ended.  I have also had experience working with clients struggling with drug and alcohol issues. I have an interest in Trauma and the nervous system and how the body and mind work together. I have undertaken some training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Polyvagal Theory.  I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and work to their ethical framework. I comply with data protection legislation and have registered with ICO. I hold a Level 4 Diploma Humanistic Integrative Counselling – CPCAB. I am currently in training to be a Supervisor (Level 6 Diploma CPCAB) and am taking on Supervisees.
